This is my little guidebook to Kanonersky island. When I settled there, I fell in love with this place and decided to show its beauty to others. This is how this book was born.
Kanonersky Island evokes mixed feelings. The futuristic skeleton of a huge bridge hanging over the island and the Gulf of Finland is adjacent to old houses, a port, beaches and untouched wildlife. Some people contemptuously call it a ghetto, others fall in love at first sight, but this island leaves no one indifferent.
All illustrations are made by hand using appliqué technique. First I made the illustrations, then wrote the text.
